As an ASD Teaching Assistant with want you to join a vibrant and rewarding SEN Secondary School in South East London. We are looking for an ASD Teaching who has a brilliant track record supporting pupils with neurodivergent cognition. Your 1:1 will be on an EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan), you will be delivering the best academic and mental support for this year 4 with moderate ASD.

ASD Teaching Assistant | Job Details

• Job Title: ADHD Teaching Assistant
• Contract: Full Time (32 Hours a week)
• Location: Greenwich, South East London
• Duty: Working 1:1 with a child in a Year 8 class
• Rate: £95 - £105 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Communication difficulties.
• Assisting in the implementation of tailored educational programs.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff to provide holistic support.

Requirements:

• Experience working with SEND children or young people.
• Background in care or support work is highly desirable.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
