Early Years Teaching Assistant | ASAP Start | Dalston, East London

A fantastic & supportive Primary School in the Borough of Islington are on the hunt for an Early Years Teaching Assistant with Leavel 3 CACHE for an ASAP start. This is a full time and long-term post.

You will be working across both the Nursery & Reception Phase in and out of the classroom. You will also be promoting learning through play & child led learning, but also utilising / creating Phonics, Reading, Writing and Maths sessions.

The Head Teacher is eager to find a graduate with a genuine passion towards Early Years. The perfect graduate would be hardworking, ambitious, creative and a real team player.

Part of this role will also be supporting children with SEN needs including Autism so any experience or understanding of this is ideal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Early Years Teaching Assistant
• EYFS (Nursery & Reception) Focus - Phonics, Reading, Maths and Writing
• Supporting children on a 1:1 & group basis in and outside of the classroom - including SEN needs such as Autism, Learning Difficulties and Speech & Language
• Working alongside a range of 'Outstanding' Primary Teachers
• ASAP start - Long Term & Full Time
• £90 - £100 per day
• Located in the Borough of Islington

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have a University Degree from a reputable University
• Good understanding of the Early Years curriculum
• You must be able to inspire young minds
• Must be able to get down to the children's level and get stuck in
• Caring and play-full personality will be required
• Must have experience with SEN
