SEN EYFS/Early Years Teaching Assistant

An 'Outstanding' Primary School in the Borough of Greenwich, are looking to recruit an SEN EYFS/Early Years Teaching Assistant. As an SEN EYFS/Early Years Teaching assistant, you will be there to support the development of the whole child. You will become a part of a wider team encouraging pupils to dream big within their curriculum choices, inspiring and motivating them on a day-to-day basis.

This is a Full time and long-term post for the entire academic year.

What will you be doing as an SEN EYFS/Early Years Teaching Assistant

  • Working within the Early years department 2-4-year-olds
  • Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing groups and 1:1 Sessions
  • Supporting mild Special Educational Needs pupils

The school are looking for any of the following within the appointed SEN EYFS/Early Years Teaching Assistant:

  • Degree from a reputable University
  • Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Bubbly and engaging personality
  • Must have CACHE level 3
  • Must be comfortable working within a large team
