Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography teacher looking to inspire young minds? A secondary school in Enfiled are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their thriving Geography department as a Geography Teacher.
Experienced QTS teachers will be considered.
You will be working at an outstanding secondary school known for its commitment to academic excellence and creating a stimulating learning environment for its students. Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons that engage and challenge students of varying abilities and age groups.
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources, including interactive technologies, fieldwork opportunities, and group activities, to enhance student learning experiences.
- Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills through the study of geographical processes and phenomena.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, specializing in Geography.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography, including a solid understanding of contemporary geographical issues and global perspectives.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation, curiosity, and independent thinking.
