Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)| Full Time | Immediate Trial Day | South East London
At Remedy we are currently seeking for an enthusiastic and experience Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role to join our partner school in South East London. As a HLTA You will be working amongst a dedicated team with a strong ethos, working as HLTA. This fantastic HLTA opportunity is located in the heart of South East London offering an exciting experience to work with children with behavioural, ASD and social and emotional difficulties needs.

About the Role:
- Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
- Start: January 2025
- Hours: Full-time, 8:45am - 3:00pm
- Location: SE7, South East London
- Rate: £120-130 per day
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with classroom educators to deliver targeted support to Key Stage 1 and 2 students, including those with special educational needs.
- Assist in implementing individualises learning plans and adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of each student.
- Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that prioritises the social and emotional well-being of every student.
- Actively engage students in stimulating learning activities to promote their participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Establish strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to student support and development.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in both Key Stage 1 and 2.
- Must have Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Understanding of special educational needs and the ability to implement effective support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and genuine dedication to supporting the individual needs of each student.
