Job description
We are looking for a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Practitioner to join our team in Startford

Full or Part time role available (school hours are not available)
Remedy are working with a very passionate nursery who is about creating bespoke learning opportunities for every child, using teaching methods with a high importance on emotional intelligence
You will need to be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude along with excellent communication skills. The ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and staff is also vital. You must also be patient, empathetic, caring and friendly.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key person
- Carry out observations, assessments and planning for key children and support the staff team with their key children
- Promote a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment, and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- To manage and support children's personal, social, and emotional development, including the promotion of positive behaviour strategies
- Support the transition of children into the nursery and then onto the next room
- Build positive relationships with children, their families, and colleagues
- Work as part of a team
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills
- 1+ years of experience with children in a work or home situation (Preferred)
- Level 2 or 3 Qualified
- Knowledge of OFSTED standards (Preferred)
- Knowledge of the EYFS (Preferred)
- Good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding (preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities / SENCO etc.
