Position: Male Behaviour Mentor
Location: St John's Wood
Setting: Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)
Start Date: Immediate/ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated Male Behaviour Mentor to support students within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in St John's Wood. This vital role involves working with young people who face challenges in mainstream education, providing them with the guidance and support they need to achieve personal growth and educational success.

About the Role

As a Male Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Support student behaviour: Work with students individually and in small groups to manage and improve their behaviour, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Promote engagement: Build strong relationships to encourage students to engage in their education and develop confidence in their abilities.
  • Provide tailored interventions: Help students develop social, emotional, and problem-solving skills through structured activities and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with staff: Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Be a positive role model: Inspire students to make positive choices and build resilience in the face of challenges.
