Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher
North London
8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and fully qualified MFL Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community in North London. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential in languages. The role involves teaching French and/or Spanish to students across a range of abilities, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in French and/or Spanish
  • Differentiate teaching methods to suit a range of learning abilities
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the MFL curriculum
  • Support extracurricular activities, including language clubs and trips (optional)

Key Requirements:

  • Fully qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
  • Strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish
  • Proven track record of successful teaching at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Passion for language learning and teaching
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
