JOB TITLE: School PA
LOCATION: Lewisham
SALARY: £18 - £20 per hour
HOURS: Monday and Friday, 8am until 4pm

Calling all skilled and enthusiastic individuals! Our client, a well-established school based in Lewisham are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated School PA to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide professional secretarial, administrative, and organisational support to the Headteacher.
- Act as the first point of contact for the Headteacher, ensuring all visitors and callers receive a professional response.
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Liaise with the Headteacher regarding daily events, diary management, and follow-up actions.
- Manage the school office email and be an internal and external ambassador for the school.
- Offer complex and confidential advice and guidance to staff, students, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Adapt to the changing needs of the school and maintain a proactive approach.
- Support the Deputy Head during the Headteacher's absence.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Support the Trustee Board by managing and coordinating communication between the school and the board.
- Prepare trustee reports and documents for meetings.
- Maintain the school's high standards and contribute to a welcoming environment.
- Attend relevant training and actively pursue personal development.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond effectively to challenges.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Proficiency in IT packages such as Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Previous experience in a busy administrative role, supporting senior management.
