ASD Teaching Assistant

Location- Greenwich, South East London |Daily Rate- £90 -£103 | Start Date- September 2024

Hours- Full Time (Term Time Only) | Contract- Long Term to Permanent

Remedy Education are searching for nurturing, caring and patient SEN Teaching assistant for the new academic year, working with one of our partner schools in Greenwich, South East London. The role is a 1:1 role based with a year four child working with a child with Complex ASD. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position at the school.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Level 2/3 supporting teaching and learning in schools or relevant qualification required.
• Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
• Have experience of supporting SEN (Complex ASD, Challenging behaviour)
• A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
• Knowledge of maintaining and updating and reviewing progress of EHCPS
• Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
