Part-Time (Monday to Wednesday), Long-Term Position

About the Role:
Remedy is seeking a dedicated Early Years SEN Teacher for a part-time role (Monday to Wednesday) starting in January 2025. You will lead a small, supportive class of children with severe and complex SEND needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a creative and individualised Early Years curriculum to meet each child's specific developmental and learning goals.
- Providing a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that fosters confidence and independence.
- Working closely with a team of Teaching Assistants to provide targeted 1:1 and group-based support.
- Collaborating with parents, therapists, and external professionals to ensure holistic and tailored support for each student.
- Using innovative SEN strategies and resources to ensure progress for all learners at their own pace.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching EYFS and SEN.
- Has a strong understanding of Early Years frameworks and SEN assessment strategies.
- Brings experience working with children with complex needs, including autism, sensory impairments, and developmental delays.
- Is a patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic educator with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
