SEN Primary Teaching Assistant

A fantastic Primary School located in the Borough of Greenwich, SE2, is seeking a graduate with strong academics and a passion for working with children with SEND/SEN needs to join their dedicated and supportive team. SEN Primary Teaching Assistant Role

  • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEN needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Working closely with 2 children who are non-verbal
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
  • Monitoring and recording interventions

  • Based in Greenwich, SE2
  • Working in an Outstanding Primary school
  • Monday - Friday
  • Long-Term, Full-Time (term time only)
  • £105 - £110 daily rate
  • September Start

The Ideal SEN Primary Teaching Assistant

  • A hardworking graduate with strong academics and a passion for learning
  • Previous experience with children and SEN/SEN needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with Non-Verbal children
  • Previous experience working 1:1
  • Someone resilient and able to overcome challenges
