Job description

Our Client Islington Council, is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Transition and Progression to Adulthood Team.

Social Workers required for the Transition and Progression to Adulthood Team supporting young people aged 18-25 with a learning disability or care and support needs under the Care Act.

This is a project post for 5 months (with a potential extension) with the focus of undertaking assessments and progressing support plans.

The rate is £32 per hour at 35 hrs per week.

The successful applicant will be expected to attend meetings and visits in person.

The applicant will need to attend the office but can also work from home throughout the week- arrangements for this can be agreed on successful interview.

What you need:

  • QSW Status - including qualification, Social Work England registration and completed ASYE
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Right to work in the UK
