Responsible for:

No direct reports, matrix management of contact and procurement colleagues as required to deliver on the procurement and contract management of properties

Job Purpose

* To lead the procurement and management of cost effective, quality and suitable accommodation for those who are homeless.

* To ensure there is a supply of accommodation that meets the Council's statutory duties.

* To develop and maintain relationships with property providers, including registered providers, private sector landlords, developers and other types of landlord.

* Lead on the development and delivery of the homeless accommodation procurement and supply approach, ensuring it reflects the market and demand position.
