Mathematics Teacher

Role Overview:

As a Mathematics Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction across various year groups. The ideal Mathematics Teacher will have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and be able to convey them effectively to students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- As a Mathematics Teacher, you will develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that challenge students and foster a love for the subject.
- The Mathematics Teacher will assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum to ensure it meets the diverse needs of all students.
- Create a positive learning environment by implementing effective classroom management strategies as a Mathematics Teacher

-Provide additional support and resources to students who need it, including those requiring extra help or advanced challenges.
- Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate mathematics teaching activities, share best practices, and contribute to departmental initiatives.
-The Mathematics Teacher will communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and encourage their involvement in their child's learning journey.

Key Requirements:

- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject are required for the Mathematics Teacher role.
-Proven experience teaching mathematics at [Key Stage 3/Key Stage 4/Key Stage 5], with a track record of improving student outcomes.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to engage and motivate students in mathematics.
- In-depth understanding of the mathematics curriculum and assessment requirements.
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required.
