SEN Tutor
Job description
SEN Tutors based in Hertford
Remedy Education are looking for Secondary Tutors to work 1:1 with a student with SEN, you will be teaching the students lifeskills and core subjects
You will work privately or through the local authorities on a 1: 1 basis to make a difference to children with SEN including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other additional needs.
To be a SEN Tutor you will need:
- QTS;or at least 1 years experience teaching and assessing in primary and/ or secondary schools
- At least 2 years' experience working with SEN special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD, PDA, dysgraphia, and global developmental delay
- A proven record of being able to heighten pupil's confidence, self-esteem and love of learning
- 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability and honesty
- To creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching
- Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- Incredible patience
- An excellent knowledge of different learning styles and how to use these
- The ability to deal with possible behaviour issues
- A Enhanced DBS on the update service
