Job description
This role will be to lead on the development, implementation and management of the Adults' Service Commissioning Delivery Plan. Duties will be to;
- Create a Commissioning Board with the remit of setting the commissioning priorities, consolidating and overseeing the current workstreams.
- Establish regular commissioning meeting with commissioning partners from the ICB to identify areas for joint commissioning opportunities.
- Develop a care home framework/DPS.
- Work with care providers to refresh Market Position Statement
- Review approach to market management and fee uplifts, consider the formation of a provider forum(s) and/or other means of have structured and regular communication with the social care market.
- Support the Commissioning service redesign that builds capacity & capability across the organisation.
The successful candidates will have worked at Head of Service level or above, and be able to demontrate a track record of implementing Market Position Statements and pipeline of social care commissioning initiatives. You will be a strong team player and able to work to tight deadlines.
The role will be hybrid with some on site working.
